I am looking for people to run with and help on their path from couch potato to real bonifide runners. If you can shuffle-jog from your couch to the fridge, then that is all you need to start on your road to being a runner.

For anyone interested in running rough terrain, including major elevation changes. Flat, hard surfaces are not for rough runners. This is for relaxation + hard exercise in the outdoors - so it is non-competitive, and at times a little walking in big elevation changes. But also not for the faint of heart - figure 15-25 minute per mile pace depending on terrain/average 18-20 min/mile. We'll pick locations and distances to suit the group and day, approximately every two weeks to start.

I want it to be a broad range of women who run 7 minute miles to those on a run/walk program. Every runner started so …
This is a group for beginner runners who want to run in a group of runners with similar skill set. We started this group because we believe most people that are not elite runners would shy away from a running group with elite runners. I have to believe in a world outside my own mind. I have to believe that my actions still have meaning, even if I can't remember them. I have to believe that when my eyes are closed, the world's still there. Do I believe the world's still there? Is it still out there? … Yeah. We all need mirrors to remind ourselves who we are. I'm no different. (Memento, 2000) No matter what anyone tells you - words and ideas can change the world. (Dead Poets Society, 1989) See, Mr. Gitts, most people never have …
